Visit of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, to Brussels – Briefing for Representatives of EU Member States and Institutions, 12 September 2025 | Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union in Brussels

As part of the official visit of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, to Brussels, a briefing was held at the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the EU for representatives of EU member states and institutions.

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, presented the most significant activities that the Republic of Serbia is undertaking in the process of European integration, including the activities of the National Assembly in the area of electoral law reform, the election of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media (REM) Council, and other efforts aimed at accelerating the EU integration process.

In an open discussion with representatives of EU member states, President Brnabić expressed her belief that Serbia could open Cluster 3 by the end of 2025 and called on member states to support the efforts being made by Serbian institutions to accelerate the country's European path.

In addition to representatives of member states within the Working Party of the Council of the EU on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA), the briefing was also attended by representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighborhood (DG ENEST).
